At this time, our self guided tours directly support Garmin brand GPS receivers only.
Note that it is NOT compatible with the Nuvi line of receivers!!!

2008 Olympic Mountains Loop
With this tour, you will be making a loop that
essentially follows the closest continuous route around
Olympic National Park, with the exception of
a leg west of Port Angeles that takes the route around the north
side of Crescent lake, which itself is in the National Park. All
roads are forest service or other public roads--we don't utilize private
roads. It should be noted that the Forest Service closes some
interior roads to vehicular travel during the winter, usually between
October 31 and April 30th. I'll note those roads which are known
to close on this website. Many of those roads are at high elevations
and are frequently blocked by snowfall in the cold months anyhow. Therefore,
this tour should be considered a spring to fall tour to minimize detours.
However-- for the die-hard dual-sport tourist--
there are instructions on the "Updates" page that let you know how to modify the route
to enjoy it beyond those dates.
